Yew Kong started attending CDPC Puchong in 2015. He is married to Charity, and they have one son, Jonah. At church, he serves in the worship and covenant group ministries.
He works as a lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Malaya where he is the advisor of the UM Christian Fellowship. After graduation he was a staff worker for the Fellowship of Evangelical Students.
He enjoys spending time outdoors whether it is hiking, fishing or cycling.
